       Vibe had a great weekend at the Vallejo shows in California.  He went into the weekend with 9 points, including a 4-point major as a 6-9 month puppy.  He won Winners Dog on Friday for a 3-point major under judge Doris Cozart, and won Winners Dog again on Sunday for another 3-point major under judge Helene Nietsch.  He was beautifully handled by Kristina and Lori Rickard of Dream-Hi Akitas for all 15 of his points.  Now he will get to come home and work on his rally novice title while he grows up some more!  Thanks again to Colleen Sullivan of Sondaisa Akitas for letting this beautiful boy join our family!

      Vibe is our second Akita, and he is 100% boy.  Many many thanks to Colleen Sullivan of Sondaisa Akitas for bestowing this bundle of energy on our family.  After getting used to the whole show thing for his first couple of shows, he exploded onto the scene at the Akita Club of Puget Sound Specialty/Enumclaw All-Breed shows in August, 2009.  On Friday, he took Best of Opposite Sex to Best Junior in Sweepstakes, and Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes.  On Saturday he won Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 4-point major out of the 6-9 month puppy class!  Both days he was expertly shown by Kristina Rickard of Dream-Hi Akitas (and Vibe’s co-breeder).
